How can I register my motorbike?
Question by Joe: How can I register my motorbike?
I bought a 50cc motorbike that has no clutch but a manual transmission that I have to shift. When I bought it the owner had no title so all we did was a bill of sale. I live in Georgia, so do I need to register it as a motorcycle? If I do then how can I do that without a title. Can I file for a lost title or what?

Time to call the Georgia DMV, but look at their website before the call.

first it doesn’t qualify as a moped as it has a manual shift transmission you must register it as a motorcycle. To do this without a title you must go to the DMV with your proof of purchase ie:bill of sale and apply for a title. It’s a pain in the butt but it can be done.
