Question by bexifina: What year was the Honda Super Sport made? (10 points)?
I’m turning 17 next year and as I can’t afford to run a car, my grandad’s giving me his old motorbike,
It’s a white F reg Honda Super Sport and 125cc,
Could anybody please tell me what year this was made, I need to know to work out how much the insurance would be, thanks!
Also, if in good condition, how much would this bike be worth at it’s age now?

All bikes after the late 60s have Vin type serial numbers. If the bike is newer than a 1968 take the vin number to Dealer and they can tell you year model and many other things about bike. If it is older than 68 good luck, as older Hondas got a year when sold not when manufactured.

In 85 I had to make the choice between the SRX and a EX250-E1(I believe GPz in the UK and Ninja here in the USA). I chose the Kwacker. Was a novice and didn’t think stepping up from an MB5 to the SRX was a good Idea. Have regretted the decision ever since. Not that the Kwacker was a bad bike, but I outgrew it in a hurry and you had to ring its bloody neck to make any power. Someday a SRX will grace the garage if I can ever find a decent example. Great vid, thanx.
And the Lord said.”Three to be true ,two for me and one for you” Amen.
Your In ! Drakey
The devil inside !
It’s a sin to own only one SRX !!!
But with two one in your garage (as I do), you’ll expect to be saved !
Let’s buy a third one just to be sure !
amen,just like mine
i love srx
I should never have sold my SRX6, would gladly trade my 82-R65LS for another SRX.
Thanks for the pics
I like the pictures and the music, but what I like even more is the title: ‘the bike god made on a holiday in Japan’ – great ! That’s what I somehow feel with a kind of ironic smile on my face when I get my SRX out of the garage.
The XBR is a nice bike and still hold there value .Goodluck
That is one sweet thumper. Gotta love the old cafe racer look, I have a 1989 Honda XBR500, lovely bike.
Blessed be his name.
And we give Thanks.Praise the Lord
Amen
Thankyou Lord
