Question by zap1234: Looking for a 50cc road motorbike NOT SCOOTER/MINI bike?
Im looking to import some 50cc motorbikes that are road legal like scooters but “look like” street bikes so they can be ridden on car licence but look cool unlike scooters/step through type.
ps not mini bikes/pocket bikes
In australia but im not after advice on regulations etc just after models available thanx

Road Legal where? in the US? If it was legal it’d be done by now. again in the US you’d have to go thru the Federal Highway Safety Institute for your bikes to be certified street legal. At 50cc they’d not have the power to get out of their own way. You’d have to start with a 4 stroke to meet EPA requirements. We’re no longer free to do as we please here in America If your idea was feasible why wouldn’t Honda be doing it?

Well, i like sports and dirt bikes but at the moment i’m looking for sports.
I’ve gotten into aprilia motorbikes but…$ $ very expencive.
I’m also looking at kawasaki and honda.

I would say honda. I’ve had nothing but great times from mine. I may be a bit biased though since that is where my experience is.

I might be exaggerating a little with the title. He’s not mafia (especially since that normally refers to Italian organized crime). But he was trying to extort money from me…..and I do take him on! I take him on a date…..and buy him lots of fruit….which seems to annoy him oddly enough. I met with him and we both signed a paper saying that this is over with. So there won’t be any suing. I wanted to, but I saw the car his son drives (cheap, broken, old)…..and now I’m glad I didn’t sue them.

Question by stuart: How does a motorbike of 500 – 600 cc handle, if derestricted.?
I’ve got my CBT coming up and would just like to know how a 500 – 600 cc Suzuki GSXR would handle when derestricted. And also how much it would cost if possible as I live in Milton Keynes.

But if you have any advice, on any other ‘ Large motorbike with derestriction ‘, please comment.

derestricting a bike has no effect on how the
bike handles. it only has an effect on how the
bike runs. it will run faster.
