Motorbike – Motorrad “MZ RT125″

RT 125 ist die Bezeichnung eines Motorrades, welches von 1939 bis 1965 von verschiedenen Herstellern gefertigt wurde. Mit rund 450.000 in Deutschland gebauten Einheiten ist die RT 125 das meistgebaute deutsche Motorrrad. Die Abkürzung RT steht für Reichstyp. 125 steht für die aufgerundete Hubraumgröße in Kubikzentimetern. Konstrukteur des Motorrades war der DKW-Chefkonstrukteur Hermann Weber. Die RT 125 gilt als das meistkopierte Motorrad der Welt. Mit rund 5 Millionen produzierten Exemplaren weltweit gilt sie nach der Honda Super Cub mit einer Stückzahl von etwa 60 Millionen als eines der meistgebauten Motorräder der Welt.
