Question by Bally: How much does it cost to learn to ride a motorbike in the UK?
I’m just about to turn 17 and i was debating whether to start riding a motorbike or to start driving a car.

i was just wondering the cost of learning to ride to see if it influences my decision.

also, roughly how much does it cost to run/insure?

well, my dad’s been made redundant, so we haven’t got a lot of cash at the moment, so i’ve got to pay for it myself :/

get a motorbike i got 1 lol, you pay for ur bike but a CBT Cost me £95 CBT (Compulry basic traning) like a test but impossible to fail lol, insurance i got my 50cc £300 but for a 125cc next year is like £200 so its up to you lol

Hi,

I am looking to hire a motorbike to travel across cities of Scotland. I am planning to make it a week long event for myself. Can someone suggest me a best place to get good bike for best price?

There are my general conditions:
- Mobike should be more than 250 CC
- Good condition- Not to let me down somewhere in middle
- Good price
- Accept international driving licence.

I am 14 i have no license or anything, and my motorbike is smaller than usual and it goes up to 60mph and it uses oil and another liquid to go.

But just not the VERY beginning. Because the VERY FIRST time you use a bike it’s confusing enough without two different brakes being thrown in….one of which if pulled too hard can drop the bike on it’s side in a flash. the skills for riding a motor bike are balance, the same as a bicycle.
When I first started riding it took me about one minute to get my balance.
