Yamaha R1 super-bike have gone through a good reputation as one of the top sport bikes out there over the previous 10 years.  When crafting the 2009 Yamaha R1 motorbikes, the technicians were confronted with this puzzling question: How does one advance on  flawlessness?

Therefore, we’ll try to describe it in the shortest, simplest term we can.In a classic engine, gasoline flame drives pistons in up-and-down movement.  The pistons, in turn, drive the crankshaft.  The crankshaft turns the reciprocal motion of the pistons into rotational action that ultimately turns the back wheel of the bike.  This translation from reciprocal to rotational motion is never perfect.  Energy is generally lost when motion shifts form, not to bring up a timing delay from the pistons shooting to the wheels turning.  The greater the movement and energy (in this case, the RPMs), the greater the loss in energy and motion transfer.  What this means to you as a motorcycle rider is that the fast you go, the less control your throttle has over the rear wheel.A crossplane cranksaft design takes a fully different approach.   First, as a substitute of two sets of pistons firing alternately, this engine involves four sets of pistons firing in rotation.  Second, the connection rods from pistons to crankshaft are placed at ninety degrees from one another around the crankshaft.

The firing order of the pistons is 270°-180°-90°-180°.  The result of the right-angle location and non-liner firing chain is that the exchange of energy and action from the pistons to the rear wheel is much more clean and exact. What this means for you as a motorbike driver is that your accelerator pedal has much more management of the rear wheel, allowing a steady, linear acceleration and smoother handling of the motorbike, even at increased speeds.Another innovation in 2009 Yamaha R1 motorbikes is a forced-air consume system.  This system increases air intake effectiveness by using the organic airflow generated when riding to pressurize the air in the air cleaner container.  As more air in the engine generates more strength, the new R1 engine has outstanding power, especially at high speeds.Yamaha has also developed the chip-controlled throttle and intake technology from racetrack motorcycles.  This merges computer technology with the driver’s throttle control for electronic micro-control of the fuel injection and air intake systems.

The end result is a throttle response that is both immediate and precise.  Together, all these hi-tech progress in 2009 Yamaha R1 motorcycles give more power and speed, and higher pilot control at the same time.  What’s not to enjoy?Since one can’t completely redesign the engine without redesigning the frame, Yamaha has done that as well, including many new improvements.  It includes an aluminum frame precisely well-balanced for the combo of both stiffness and flex that a racing bike demands. It also includes crafted aluminum pistons, a lightweight titanium intake valve, and electronically actuated steering dampeners.Regardless of of 2009 Yamaha R1 motorcycles’ advantages and innovations, including great acceleration, outstanding responsiveness, and heightened maneuverability, it has its drawbacks like any motor vehicle.

Some buyers report discovering it to be unpleasant when travelling or driving long distances. The bike gives off a lot of warmth, which can get not comfortable at low speeds, or in the stop-and-start nature of rush hour area traffic.  On the other hand, some people may argue, 2009 Yamaha R1 motorcycles are not built for commuting – they are built for racing.  If you’re looking to commute in comfort and ease, go acquire a minivan.

I know nothing about motorbikes, my grandad is a motorhead and i’m gonna buy the parts i need and he’ll just tell me to do stuff. So i’m looking for suggestions as to what engine i should get.
Ohh right i see, lol nvm most of the sites are about model aeroplane engines but there actually are Evolution motorbike engines lol my bad. /facepalm
